NC Schools FIRST In America 2010

First in America

2004 First in America Annual Reports

North Carolina's education leaders adopted the goal of making the state's schools First in America by 2010 and established a set of goals, priorities, and performance targets to define what it would mean to be First in America.  The First in America reports, first issued in 2000, track the state's progress in reaching these goals.  Beginning in 2002, modifications were made to the First in America reports so that they could also serve as the State Report Card of NC School Report Card series and meet all of the federal reporting requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act.

Released November 16th 2004:
